Constructed of injection-molded engineering-grade nylon, Shepherd Chair casters are designed to make replacing your standard chair casters a breeze. With two different pivot boss diameters to choose from, along with urethane tread options, you will be sure to find the caster that best fits your seating application. Chair casters may also be ordered as self-braking models, available in both compression and decompression forms.

Ladder

Our Ladder Casters allow you to easily replace the worn casters that you typically may have on stock room or warehouse rolling ladders. Long stems are specially manufactured for the replacement of your rolling ladder casters. The casters feature soft rubber wheels, dual ball bearing raceways, and are fully zinc plated for corrosion resistance.

Self-Braking

Constructed of injection-molded engineering-grade nylon, Shepherd Self-Braking Chair casters are designed to make replacing your standard chair casters a breeze. Self-Braking Chair casters utilize weight (or the lack thereof) to initiate the integrated friction brake.

PDT

PDT casters have an all plastic body, with urethane wheel construction. PDT offers a unique caster design that features a total lock brake, which locks wheel rotation and swivel rotation with one simple press of your foot. Thread guards prevent debris entanglement with the wheel axle. TEST

Glass Handling

Shepherd Glass Handling casters are designed for inverted-position use and mounted to conveyer systems. A specially designed raceway system protects against debris, ensuring efficient swivel operation. Soft, non-marking neoprene rubber wheels provide a cushioned environment for glass sheets – or other transportable objects – to easily roll along.

Avant

MedCaster’s newest series, Avant is a sleek nylon caster designed for improved ergonomics and quiet operation. A sealed precision swivel raceway provides smooth and effortless directional changes. Labyrinth seals, along with integrated thread guards, keep Avant casters clean and safe. QuikStart wheels are non-marking and floor protective. Avant are maintenance free, reducing downtime and repair costs.

120 Series

Albion 120 series are 2-inch wide kingpinless casters constructed from 304 stainless steel. A precision-machined swivel section is welded inside and outside to legs for maximum durability. The stainless construction is highly polished, and is ideal for applications exposed to cleaning agents, wash-downs, caustic solutions, steam, marine environments, or any other corrosive agents that could cause rust. Kingpinless casters provide greater reliability and eliminate kingpin failure – the leading cause of caster failure.

330 Series

For the heaviest-duty applications, the 330 Series features a thick, precision-machined grade 316 stainless swivel section and 304 stainless steel rig. Both are highly polished for aesthetic. Ideal for applications exposed to cleaning agents, wash-downs, caustic solutions, steam, marine environments, or any other corrosive agents which could cause rust. All components, including the ball bearings in the kingpinless swivel section, are stainless. Kingpinless casters eliminate kingpin failure – the leading cause of caster failure. Kingpinless casters also increase a caster’s ergonomic abilities, making them more ideal to reduce employee strain.

40 Series

Spring-loaded casters are designed to protect the transported load. Albion 40 series protects from damaging shocks or unwanted vibration and movement. Noise levels are reduced through the dampening effects of the springs. 40 Series maximum-rated capacities will deflect the wheel approximately 3/8″ (50%). Different load springs for each series permits a wide variation in ride ‘softness.’ The springs can be preloaded to obtain various degrees of deflection; contact factory for more details.

42 Series
