KasterKat shopping cart casters and wheels feature a molded, red annular ring mixed with polyurethane between the hub and our premium polyurethane tread. This process provides both a chemical bond and a mechanical lock between the tread and hub. KasterKat provides the smoothest rolling surface with additional shock absorbing features not found in other shopping carts wheels.
PolyKat
PolyKat shopping cart casters and wheels feature a polyurethane tread mechanically locked to a polypropylene core, which helps to prevent tread separation. PolyKat wheels are famous for their outstanding wear characteristics and floor protection. These wheels resist most chemicals, solvents, acids, and oils. A rounded tread provides better roll-ability and maneuverability compared to other wheels.
2 Series Stainless Steel Casters
If rust is a problem, Colson 2 Series stainless steel casters are the solution, handling working loads of up to 325 lbs. per caster. Look to the Colson 2 Series Stainless Steel casters for an ideal industrial 1-1/4″-wide solution when exposure to water or chemicals are required. Polished 304 grade stainless steel construction handles the most punishing and corrosive environments. All component parts in this caster – including spanner bushing, axle and nut, and raceway bearings – are stainless steel. If you need more capacity or a wider wheel footprint for stability, step up to the Colson 4 Series Stainless for capacities of up to 1,250 lbs. per caster and 2†wide wheel treads.
2 Series LoPro Casters
Colson 2 Series LoPro casters take trusted Colson manufacturing and package it in a low-profile design, handling working loads of up to 250 lbs. per caster. Ideal for usage on business machines, stock picking carts, warehouse dollies, and housekeeping carts, LoPro casters offer low load height and quick swivel response. Heat-treated double ball raceways provide reliable swivel ease. Zinc plating provides an attractive and durable finish to each caster.
2 Series Stainless Steel Precision Casters
Colson 2 Series Stainless Steel Precision casters offer a quiet and ergonomic stainless caster solution, handling working loads of up to 300 lbs. per caster. A durable and sealed stainless steel precision bearing raceway provides maximum roll and swivel ease during operation. The sealed precision bearing is maintenance free, eliminating the need to add grease, and better withstands multiple wash-downs. All component parts are constructed of stainless steel to ensure that the 2 Series Stainless Steel Precision casters handle the most punishing, corrosive environments.
4 Series 1 1/2″ Casters
A narrower version of our popular Colson 4 Series casters, this series provides an excellent solution for narrow flooring tracks or simply a smaller footprint, handling working loads of up to 800 lbs. per caster. Featuring a 1-1/2″-wide wheel tread, this series provides a reliable option for medium duty applications where a narrower footprint is desired (versus a 2†wide tread width). Zinc plating provides an attractive and durable finish to steel rig construction.
