Cast Iron

This wheel should be specified when excessive load weights are involved and floor protection is not a factor. Its high strength withstands sharp impacts. Cast Iron wheels should not be used if noise is of major concern or if loads are fragile.

OG Miniature Press-on Polyurethane Tires

Polyurethane tires will reduce operating cost because the high wear resistance of this material minimizes replacement. Polyurethane offers easier rollability, higher wear resistance, and greater capacity than rubber. Use press-on polyurethane as an alternative to standard mold-on polyurethane when greater cushioning or speed is involved.

Endura Elastomer

When you need a wheel to roll easily under heavy loads, Colson offers the perfect solution. Endura wheels out-perform most conventional caster wheels on the market. The secret is Colson’s solid “monoform” wheel construction. With this unique design, wheel tread and core are molded as a single unit. This eliminates wheel tread separation and bond failure.

Colson’s exclusive solid elastomer compound delivers greater durability than conventional metal, rubber, plastic, polyurethane and phenolic wheels.

Colson’s severe and comprehensive test procedures prove Endura wheels outlast competitive solid elastomer wheels by more than 50%! Colson test results also show that Endura wheels start rolling, keep rolling and swivel easier than our competitors.

Even in continuous operation, these wheels produce extremely low heat build-up making them perfect for tow-line applications (precision ball bearings required).

Endura wheels resist most chemicals, oils, greases, petroleum products and solvents. In addition, Endura non-marking wheels offer excellent resistance to chipping, cracking and flat-spotting. Superior impact strength and abrasion resistance further enhance durability.
